The Phoroptor

A phoroptor is a lens-switching tool used in optometry to test a person’s vision. In this space, it becomes a metaphor for clarity — how perspective can shift not by changing the object, but by changing the lens through which we view it.

Here, we layer perspective. One poem. One narrative. One analytical essay. Each looks at the same core idea through a different frame — emotion, story, and truth-seeking dissection. These posts are meant to work alone, but reveal more together.

The goal isn’t to tell you what to think. It’s to show you how easily truth can look different when you rotate the lens. This is not a space for quick answers. It’s a practice in adjustment.
